Hussain Sajwani And His Successful Ventures From Real Estate Development To Philanthropy

Hussain Sajwani, the founder and Chairman of the real estate development firm DAMAC Properties, known across the world for his business ventures and philanthropy. He is one of the largest developers in the Middle East with the strongest presence in and around Dubai.

His style of developing glitzy style properties has many fans across the world, and Sajwani focuses on residential, commercial, and leisure properties with high-quality service. Hussain Sajwani has more than two decades of experience in the property development in the Arab world, and this helps him to quickly identify the potential opportunities in the region better than anyone else.

He founded DAMAC Properties in 2002 to provide world-class property solutions to the foreigners in the Emirates. Considering the change in the rule that allowed foreigners to own property in Dubai, Hussain Sajwani foresaw an overflowing demand for quality property solutions from them.

Most of his property development projects are targeting the foreigners who are mostly apartment buyers. His successful journey with DAMAC Properties started when he sold all the units of his first unit within six months of launching the project – a 38-story residential apartment.

The DAMAC owner also associated with major brands across the world including The Trump Organization, Bugatti, Fendi Casa, Versace, etc., to provide customized and trendy home solutions.

Hussain Sajwani and the current U.S. President Donald Trump joined hands when DAMAC Properties helped Trump to build a golf club in Dubai under the design of Tiger Woods. Since then, both Hussain and Trump maintain a great personal relationship. Hussain Sajwani family too maintain a warm relationship with Trump family and especially with his daughter Ivanka Trump.

Interestingly, Hussain was specially invited by Trump for his New Year celebrations 2017 after he was elected as the President of the United States.

Hussain completed his graduation from the University of Washington before starting his career in real estate. His initial years were with GASCO as a Contracts Manager where he saw the influx of people to UAE markets closely, and this led him to start DAMAC Properties.

Hussain Sajwani also has keen interests in philanthropy with contributing, assisting, and guiding communities both locally and internationally to develop the capacity of the people.

He gives priority to education, healthcare, and other basic needs of the struggling communities. Hussain Sajwani has greater regards to children and contributes millions to save deprived children across the globe from their struggles. In 2013 Ramadan, he donated two million AED to offer clothes for at least 50,000 children around the world.
