The Waiakea Brand of Water Was Launched Using a Three Point Platform

The Waiakea brand of bottled water has gained recognition in both the bottled water industry as well as in the business world. As a business, this brand has had unprecedented growth since it was first introduced in 2012.

The founder behind this brand, Ryan Emmons, chose to use a three point platform when launching Waiakea water.

His goal was to focus on the aspects of sustainability, health and charitable actions. The end result of this strategy was a 5,000 percent growth in sales since the water was initially launched.

In fact, the demand for the water has been so great the company is now planning to build a second facility in their native location of Hawaii.

In addition to selling over 120,000 cases of water yearly, this company has also managed to donate 500 million liters of clean water to some of the underdeveloped areas in Africa.

According to Crunchbase, this was accomplished as part of the company’s clean water incentive. As a company in partnership with Pump Aid, the Waiakea water company donates 650 liters of clean water for every one liter that is purchased.

As a company that also strives to protect the environment, this brand is bottled in recyclable RPET containers. Not only do these bottles use less water to manufacture they also use less energy and release less carbon emissions into the air.

The health aspect of this water comes from the underground volcanic rock formations it passes through on its journey to the spring. During this process the water becomes enriched with beneficial minerals and electrolytes.

It also has a natural pH level of 8.8, which makes it easier for the cells of the body to absorb, so it is better for hydration.
